Fall : The Season of Renewal
We think fall is the perfect time to reorganize your space and your thoughts. It’s the season to renew and restore. To figure out what task to tackle first, the first thing you’ll want to do is write everything down. This is really important.
You’ll want to make a list of things you want to accomplish to help organize your space and yourself (thoughts, habits, small or big changes).
Whether you want a drastic change or just a small change, prepping ahead will help you tackle whatever the season throws your way!
Okay, so this includes your general work/personal space, it can be just a room or multiple rooms if you have the entire place to yourself. Your space basically means you taking care of your surroundings, changing it, upgrading it, etc. This can include washing your dishes regularly, doing the big mop or vacuuming. It can also be just as simple as reorganizing your pantry or vowing to make your bed every day.
From washing your sheets, to reorganizing your fridge, the smallest change will help bring upon a more organized surrounding and a fresh change of setting.
At Harlee we believe that fall is the season to inspire yourself and add a little inspiration in your space, so whether you bought a new vase or reorganized your pantry, just go for it! You’ll thank yourself later.
Keeping a journal, writing things down, lists, a diary, whatever you call it, just write it down. Keep a journal with you, whether a virtual one, or a paper one (we prefer it old school with paper!)...just remember to write it down. When you wake up in the morning do something called a “mind dump”. This is where you write down anything and everything that comes to your mind that you feel you need to do or want to do.
After you’ve written down your “to do list”, every time you complete a task, mark it off the list, and at the end of the day check to see how many things you’ve accomplished. Even if you don’t finish everything, this simple task of organizing your thoughts in writing will help you create a clear picture for your short term + long term goals.
